持続化給付金(じぞくかきゅうふきん)
for business owners with 50%+ sales drop

is the cash benefit for business owners based in Japan getting financial damages because of covid19 outbreak. A Sole-Proprietors can get MAX. 1 million yen, and a Company can get MAX. 2 million yen.

Let’s get straight to the point — so what do we need?

Required documents

1. Tax Filing Records (確定申告書類 / Kakutei Shinkoku)
with official HANKO (!) stamped by Tax Office

2. Sales record (売上台帳 / Sales Ledger)
that shows the sales dropped by over 50%

3. Copy of bank book
Please make sure that the copy includes the following information:
- Bank name / branch name and code
- Account category (Futsuu or Toza)
- Account number
- Account holder’s name

4. Application Form (Online)
Write your company information based on tax record and company registration letter (Tokibo-tohon):
- Company Number
- Company Name
- Company Address
- Category of Industry
- The Start Date of Business
- Amount of Capital

PLUS, we need to fill out the following information:
- Number of Employee
- Name of the owner
- Total revenue from the last year
- Financial Closing Month
- The month that the sales / revenue (事業収入) dropped by over 50%
- Total sales / revenue on the month (with 50% drop)

Don’t forget to put these information so that the government can reach out to you if we are missing some documents:
- Phone number
- Name of the person in charge of the application
- Email address of the person in charge
- Phone number of the person in charge

5. Bank account information to receive
- Bank name
- Bank code (number)
- Branch name
- Branch code
- Category (Futsuu 普通 or Toza 当座)
- Account number
- Account name

This is the official website, and the deadline is until January 15th, 2021.
So, we don’t need to rush too much. They still have budget to provide.

The cash should arrive within 2 weeks according to the provider although there are some news that it’s delaying.
